Welcome to the Manasota Track Club website!
The MTC was created 40 years ago and is based in Sarasota, Florida. Our club has the typical combination of hard-core competitive athletes, the out for “fun, fellowship and fitness” runners & walkers – and everything in between. Click on the “About Us” link for a more comprehensive look at who we are and what we stand for.
Since we live in a tropical paradise on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, many scenic, water-stop friendly runs are easy to come by. Check out our “Training” link to find a group run to fit your schedule, or select the link to “map my run” to make your own. If you are an out-of-towner, we are perfect “Sarasota Ambassadors” always willing to recommend a local favorite restaurant, hot spot or entertainment venue. Please check out our web site, join us on a run, or just come hang out with us at a race.
If you are interested in becoming an MTC member please check the “Membership” link for an application. We would love to have you as a “newbie”.
One of our primary goals is to support all levels of running, here are a few examples of how we do that:
- Kids Summer Beach Runs held on Siesta Key
- MTC Scholarship Program for local high school student runners
- Local races supporting a wide-range of charities.
We can provide:
- Race Consulting
- Course Set-up and Management
- Timing and Results
