Your participation helps to provide classroom grants to local schools.
Participants will receive commemoriate dri-fit shirts, swag bags and post-run breakfast. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for all registrations received by January 15, 2018.

Event details and schedule
Packet Pick-Up: Friday, January 26, 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports Sarasota (711 S Osprey Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236). Packets may also be picked up on race morning.
Online registration closes at 9 am on Friday, January 26. Registration is available for a $5 price increase at Friday night packet pick-up or race morning.
Schedule for Saturday, January 27:
6:45 am – Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration opens
7:30 am – Opening Ceremony
8:00 am – 5K
8:30 am – Dog Costume Contest Judging
8:45 am – Kids Run
8:50 am – Dog Walk

Parking: Free event parking is available in the Payne Park lot and in the parking garage located on Adams Lane.
Course: The Start and Finish areas are in Payne Park (2050 Adams Lane, Sarasota) on the School Avenue side of the park. The Kids Run and Dog Walk course follows the 1/2 mile or 1 mile crushed cinder path in the park. The 5K is a two lap course through the park on a varied terrain of crushed cinder, concrete sidewalk and grass.
Awards: Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall 5K finishers in the following categories for both male and female: Overall, Master, Grand Master, Senior Master, Veteran Master. Age group awards will be given to the top 6 finishers in the following age groups for both male and female: 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, and in five year increments up to 100 and above.
All Kids Run participants and youth age 12 and under in the 5K will receive a finisher’s medal. A prize will also be given to the winner of the doggie costume contest.
Breakfast: All participants will receive a ticket for a FREE post-run breakfast! Additional meals can be purchased for $5 per plate. A coffee station will also be available prior to the race.
