The Haven’s Jingle and Jog 5K Run/Walk is turning 21! What better way to celebrate the Jingle and Jog’s 21st Birthday than with BEER!!! Even if you are not a runner come celebrate and say CHEERS to our Race turning 21!!!!
From our humble beginnings in 1997 with a little over 200 runners, the Jingle & Jog 5k has been a festive marquee event in the Sarasota community for two decades. With over 6,500 finishers of the event – we want you to add your name to the list!
All funds raised by the event benefit the mission of The Haven, an established non-profit with a 64-year legacy of providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities.
Sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club, this family-friendly road race is for every athlete and fitness goal. Starting at The Haven’s beautiful campus nestled on 32-acres of lush Florida scenery; participants will experience a smooth course under the canopy of established oak trees.
A special Thank you the Fry Family Foundation for donating $20 for every finisher for this year’s race! The Haven is aiming to have over 700 participants!

The 43rd Annual Sandy Claws Beach Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place Saturday, Dec. 14 on beautiful Siesta Beach, #1 beach in the USA! Set a fast pace on the hard-packed world-renowned white quartz sands or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore. This race, co-sponsored by Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources and Dr. Heidi K. Anderson-DOCS, is sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club and chip-timed. 5K participants receive a custom finisher medal. Enjoy the post-race party with music, holiday-themed costume contest, raffle prizes, holiday photo op and food and beverages.
In honor of the life of Andrew Monroe, the Annual Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarhsip 5k run/walk was established to benefit senior soccer players at Riverview High School as well as Track and JROTC scholarships. The event also has 2 scholarships in perpetuity thru the Sarasota Community Foundation that provides 2 $1,000 scholarships to Sarasota County athletes.

Join us for the Club’s only Ultra! Pick between 25k and 50k distances through the beautiful Oscar Scherer Park. Packet pickup morning of race at the Park. The park will open to runners at 6:15am, packet pickup will begin at 6:30am, race announcements will begin at 7:15am and the races will start at 7:30am.
Enter the Park and drive to the end of the hard top road. The parking lot is on the right.
The 50k consists of four 7.75 mile laps and the 25k has two 7.75 mile laps. There are three water/food stops per lap and the start/finish line is very close to the parking area so you have access to your own supplies during the race if you need.
